Rubber Waveguide Termination Loads

 

WRL(Waveguide Rubber Load)It is a wave absorbing material for wave guide terminal load made by pressing rubber and absorbing filler into a special shape through a mold. Not only has good absorption performance, but also has elasticity, easy installation and good aging resistance. The test of the load can use the measurement line measurement method and the sweep frequency test method.

Properties:

 

The shapes are single-pointed wedge-shaped, double-pointed wedge-shaped, pointed cone-shaped, etc.;

The length of the load can be represented by the waveguide wavelength λg, generally λg is about 4/3 times the wavelength of free space;

The longer the length of the waveguide load, the better the absorption performance and the smaller the standing wave coefficient;

High temperature resistance of about 120 ℃, suitable for small and medium power;

WRL type can withstand power capacity proportional to withstand temperature and heat dissipation area;

Different waveguides, approximately proportional to λg;

 

 

 

Application:

 

Various types of WRL waveguide loads are used in many places in microwave systems;

Short waveguide loads are mostly used in engineering, and long waveguide loads are mostly used in instruments;

Replacing the antenna as a dummy load of the medium and small power transmitter, so that the power can not be transmitted externally, which is convenient and confidential;

In various microwave test systems, as a standard load, provide relative standards for testing and adjustment;

Used as absorbing load for directional couplers, especially three-terminal or four-terminal terminators widely used in various circulators;

Installation:

 

When installing, apply XY-401 glue, etc. to the inner surface of the load and the waveguide, let it dry slightly, put the load in, and press it tightly;
